DECT modules provide ready-to-run radio
Low Power Radio Solutions has expanded its product range with its first DECT-based system.
The 400 series modules operate at the popular 433.92MHz frequency, and offers data transfer up to 40Kbit/s.
Providing designers with more options and access to wider, international, markets the 800 range of modules offers frequencies of 868.45, 869.85 and 914.5MHz (for use in the USA).
The modules may be specified to operate from supply voltages of either 3 or 5V DC and they feature low power consumption, transmitter typically 8mA at 5V or 6mA at 3V and receiver 9.5mA.
With high sensitivity, typically 112dBm and a power output of 10mW, +10dB these modules are ideal for medium range applications.
They feature RSSI and carrier detect outputs and are ETSI 300-220 compliant.
Physical dimensions are 31 x 13 x 3mm for the transmitters and 48 x 17 x 5mm for the receivers.
Barry Gillibrand, Managing Director of LPRS comments: "These new wireless modules are a valuable addition to our product range".
"They offer form, fit and function compatibility with many existing modules in use worldwide and are now available from stock at LPRS".
"We know the problems our customers have faced buying wireless modules from nonspecialist suppliers, we can offer a high level of technical support and ensure new designs get to market in the shortest possible time".
Typical applications for the 400 and 800 series wireless modules include industrial monitoring and control systems, alarm and security systems and communications systems. Request a free brochure from Low Power Radio Solutions ...
