Vogel rises to senior European role
Ronald Vogel, an 18-year veteran of LSI Logic Corporation, has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Europe.

Available now from LSI Logic is the company's software development platform (SDP) for the SC2000 digital set-top box (STB) chip featuring ANT's embedded Fresco browser.
Vogel will report to Frank Tornaghi, LSI Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and will head up the company's custom solutions and ASSP sales teams in Europe.
"Ronald has a level of market knowledge and technology expertise that is without match in the industry", said Tornaghi.
"We are delighted that he has agreed to take on this challenging role, which requires the unique experience and skills he has".
During his tenure at LSI, Vogel has held senior sales management positions and has been a key player in the management of major accounts.
Most recently, he was Director of Sales for Central and Eastern Europe, covering versatile geographies including Austria, Benelux, Germany, Israel, Italy, Switzerland and Turkey.
Previously, he was Director of Sales for the European Consumer and Communications markets.
Vogel has more than 20 years experience in the electronics industry, starting his career as a Development Engineer at Siemens.
Vogel holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt and is based in Munich, Germany.
