Lumberg UK has expanded its range of USB type 2.0 connectors.
Lumberg UK has expanded its range of USB type 2.0 connectors The USB type 2 is hot pluggable and able to transfer data up to 480Mbit/s over assemblies of up to 5m in length
The connectors are fully shielded, with positive polarisation and incorporate PCB hold down features with standoffs to enable ease of cleaning.
Types now available include USB connector cable type 2.0: A to B in lengths 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 5.0m and sockets through hole or SMT in 90 and 180-degree format.
IEEE1394 (Fire Wire) has many similarities to USB but is a high speed serial interface for connecting peripherals to a computer and available in 6-6 pole, 6-4 pole and 4-4 pole in lengths of 1.0, 2.0m, 3.0 and 5.0m.
Sockets are available for through hole and SMT in 90 and 180-degree format.
The products are aimed at high-speed multimedia equipment.
