Lumberg UK has expanded its range of USB type 2.0 connectors.
Each connector or distributor box uses high-grade stainless steel fittings with moulded PVC for the connectors and cables.
These materials stand up to the aggressive cleaning agents that are used in the food industry.
The products are extremely robust and each holds an IP69 rating to show resistance to temperature (80C) and high water pressure - making them ideal for wash-down environments.
Twelve products are available in the range, and with up to 18 different variations possible, the products offer a flexible solution.
The connectors and electrical distributor boxes have smooth surfaces, without fixture holes or nooks which would promote the presence of bacteria.
In addition, the products are fully protected against shock and vibration.
