Livingston's calibration laboratory has the capabilities to test customers electronic test equipment in the areas of RF/microwave, telecommunications, optical and most general purpose day to day test equipment.
The RF department can test most RF equipment to 26.5GHz, with signal generators, frequency counters and spectrum analysers tested to 40GHz.
They also test mobile phone testers, cable TV equipment, cable VSWR testers.
The telecomms department can test customers' equipment, from the basic 2Mbit/s to 10Gbit/s.
In the DC/LF area engineers can test DMM, oscilloscopes up to 8GHz bandwidth, temperature and humidity and 16th Edition safety testers.
With investment over the last two years Livingston has now added OTDRs to its optical range of calibration of sources, attenuators and power meters.
Livingston calibration is a BSI9001:2000 registered company, experienced in helping companies meet their calibration requirements for test and measurement equipment.
To date Livingston has been able to reduce the costs associated with managing test equipment for a number of leading telecomms companies.
