LynuxWorks has come up with a new series of bundle options to include service and support with enhanced tools for its popular BlueCat Linux operating system platform With a strong reputation for the industry's best support and leveraging an ever increasing advanced tool set, LynuxWorks aims to offer product and system engineers the greatest flexibility in choosing the most comprehensive and cost-effective solutions available to meet their immediate product and system design needs

Several options are immediately available.

"As embedded Linux grows in preference over other embedded operating systems, and as our own BlueCat distribution continues to gain a larger following, LynuxWorks has been listening to our customers needs", said Dr Inder Singh, LynuxWorks CEO.

"Customers have asked for more functionality, more enhanced tools and complete solutions.

Our new bundle options address these needs and offer greater value to our customers by combining the very best of what we do into developer solutions.

The bundles will help companies reduce time to market for new commercial products and system designs".

At the core of the bundle options is LynuxWorks BlueCat Linux 3.1.

With the industry's broadest microprocessor support for embedded Linux, BlueCat supports architectures including Intel IA-32 and XScale micro-architecture, MIPS, ARM family (including Thumb extensions), StrongARM, PowerPC (including PowerQUICC) and Hitachi SuperH.
