To meet every conceivable application requirement, this versatile HMI series extends from a compact two-line text display for simple messaging, up to a high quality 10.4in TFT colour display for the more complex needs.
All units incorporate freely programmable function keys and, with the exception of the GK05, full numeric data entry keypads.
To cater for a wide variety of lighting conditions, all GK units feature a bright, easy-to-read backlit LCD that can display both messages and graphics, including graphs, and clocks.
In addition brightness and contrast parameters can be individually configured to guarantee maximum readability.
All GKs incorporate a tough anodised metal casing and durable IP65 protected front panel.
This makes the GK series resistant to both oil and water and therefore suitable for use in even the most demanding of conditions.
The GKWIN terminal software offers a reliable and user-friendly Windows-based programming environment for the complete GK product range.
Based on a block manager environment, the software allows the programmer to easily configure screens using a comprehensive object library of graphic symbols.
These include messaging, switches, bar graphs and various forms of analogue and digital display.
Communication is achieved via RS232C and RS422 serial interfaces and for open networking Profibus and Ethernet options are available.
All GKs are optimised for use with Matsushitass FP series of PLCs and find applications in a broad spectrum of both industrial and office environments.
