output

This useful feature enables the device to be set up to distinguish between different levels of detected-object heat.
This allows the MP motion sensor to be configured to discriminate between objects that emit large amounts of heat (such as human beings) and those that give off less heat (such as small animals).
In this way, the device can be adjusted to avoid being accidentally triggered by, for example, a domestic pet.
The new analogue MP motion sensor still retains the same compact dimensions as the digital type.
It measures a mere 9.8 x 9mm and occupies just 10% of the volume of conventional motion detection sensors, enabling it to be installed into even the smallest of devices.
To enable most applications to be considered, the MP motion sensor is available in four different configurations.
The standard type has a 5m sensing range with 64 detection zones.
In addition, long-range (10m sensing range with 80 detection zones) slight motion (2m sensing range with 104 detection zones) and spot (5m sensing range with 24 detection zones) types are also available.
For further versatility in end-product design, all versions of the MP motion sensor are available with a choice of black or white lens colour.
The MP motion sensor also features a noise withstand capability that is at least twice that of conventional types, with even higher tolerance levels to mobile telephones, for example.
The new digital type has a maximum rated operating voltage of 5.5V DC and low power consumption.
These features, combined with the device's small size and high sensitivity, make it ideal for applications within lighting control, vending machines, security management systems and home automation.
