The Web Server can be dialled up via a modem for local or wide area network access or by one remote gateway for multiple FP Web Servers in a local Ethernet network.
The FP Web Server supports RS232C to Ethernet redirection and conversion programming and uses visualisation tools to access an optional second, fully transparent port.
The Web Server can also display PLC data presented as HTML pages (web page) and can be accessed via a standard Internet browser, which allows for early identification of potential problems.
A Windows based program is supplied to make the configuration and set-up of the FP Web Server easy, and the software is supplied with programming examples.
Daily operating reports can therefore be produced quickly and easily, giving improved record keeping.
Email alarms or updates can be sent from a PLC to the user via email or as a SMS message using forwarding software after an event has occurred.
This means that existing support personnel can be better informed of any problems before reaching the site.
The mini FP Web Server has a compact design measuring only 90 x 60 x 25mm and requires a 24V power supply.
