Relay gives impressive performance for its size
With a width of just 5mm the slim-line PA relay now switches an impressive 5A @ 250VAC (previously 3A @ 250VAC)
Other developments to the device include the reduction of audible switching noise level by a further 10dB compared to conventional Micro-ISO relays, operating life to 100k operations electrical at rated load and 1 million operations mechanical.
Typical applications for this new relay include fan heater controls, wiper motors, cruise control, horn and lighting systems.
Furthermore, the CV relay is fully IP67 sealed making it suitable for automated washing processes and harsh environmental applications.
Temperature operating characteristics are -40 to +85C.
The CV is rated at 20A and is available in 1 Form A and 1 Form C contact arrangements.
Both devices have a footprint of 22.5 x 15mm.
The CV relay is available in three terminal configurations: Micro-ISO, Micro-280 and Micro-280 PCB.
Coil suppression is also catered for in the form of a resistor or diode option.
Currently the relay is available in a 12V coil type but a 24V coil version will be available in the future.
