A new process improvement practitioner has joined the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) in the North West from the electronics industry.
A new process improvement practitioner has joined the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) in the North West UK from the electronics industry The arrival of Julian Winn, most recently Senior Programme Manager with Celestica, has now expanded the MAS team to 20 practitioners helping manufacturers across the region to increase their bottom-line performance

The Manufacturing Institute set up the master practitioner team in 2002, when it first began delivering the DTI-funded Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) in the North West.
Mike Price, who heads up operations for MAS in the North West commented: "We are delighted to welcome Julian to the team".
"His extensive manufacturing knowledge from the electronics industry will undoubtedly prove very valuable to manufacturers across the region".
"In the last two and half years the team has helped manufacturers in the North West to generate productivity improvements worth more than GBP 35 million, at an average of GBP 146,000 per company project".
"We are well set to add to this total significantly in the coming months".
