Capacitor packs provide powerful backup
New 15V ultracapacitor packs and modules provide easy-to-integrate energy storage and power delivery solutions for a wide range of consumer, industrial and transportation applications.
Maxwell's MC and BC ultracapacitor product families provide cell sizes ranging in capacitance from 140 to 2600F, each available in both Power and Energy cell types and in corresponding fully integrated multicell modules.
All cells with a capacitance of 650F or greater operate at 2.7V, enabling them to store more energy and deliver more power per unit volume than any other commercially available ultracapacitor products.
The more economical Energy versions are targeted for light duty industrial, UPS, telecommunications and consumer electronics applications, whereas the Power versions are designed for hybrid vehicle drive trains, automotive subsystems and other applications that require the lowest equivalent series resistance (ESR) and highest efficiency available with current ultracapacitor technology.
PCIM Europe is in Nuremberg, Germany, from 30th May to 1st June 2006.
Maxwell Technologies will be on Booth 12-230.
