PTFE terminals are rugged sorts
Teflon-insulated terminals handle high temperature and high quality terminal and connector applications.
A broad selection of rugged, press-in type PTFE (Teflon) insulated terminals for high temperature and high quality terminal and connector applications is now available from MECI, the UK agent for Keystone Electronics Corp Engineered for high density packaging on 1.6mm PC boards, these PTFE terminals provide outstanding electrical, mechanical, thermal and chemical characteristics
Rugged and resistant to mechanical shock and vibration, they operate in the temperature range of -65 to +200C.
Terminals and pins are manufactured in a variety of configurations for top and bottom mount plus feed-through mounting on chassis, PCBs and panels.
Insulator bushings are made of high grade white PTFE (Teflon) with tin plated brass electrodes.
Other colours and platings are available.
