Embedded controller comes with its own RTOS
The VM-1 from Micro-Robotics is a credit-card-sized embedded control computer that is used with Venom-SC, the latest version of the popular object-oriented control-system language.
Recent enhancements to this popular controller include CAN protocol, IDE software and a new memory card interface while the new extended version is known as the VM-1e.
Designed to provide extra application capacity, the VM-1e has an increased maximum application code size from 192 to 512Kbyte.
Although few users reach the original limit of 192Kbyte the development of VM-1e is in recognition that customer expectations of software-powered products are constantly growing and engineers prefer to design with spare capacity whenever possible.
The Southern Electronics exhibition will be held at Thorpe Park on 7th and 8th February 2007. Request free introductory details about products from Micro-Robotics ...
