Demand grows for Bluetooth integration
Bluetooth IP provider MindTree Consulting is forecasting an increase in the demand for integration of Bluetooth technology in product areas such as GPS, Wi-Fi and GSM/CDMA.
Recent market trends indicate that Bluetooth is fast emerging as a popular technology among consumers, and Bluetooth IP provider MindTree Consulting is forecasting an increase in the demand for integration of Bluetooth technology in product areas such as GPS, Wi-Fi and GSM/CDMA Commenting on the news that Ericsson is restructuring its Bluetooth activities, MindTree Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President - R and D Services, Vinod Deshmukh said: "Today, Bluetooth has matured into mainstream technology and this development further increases business opportunities to provide Bluetooth controller silicon IP to semiconductors and chip vendors"

MindTree has sold more than 25 different Bluetooth licences in the last three years and its IP is shipped with the products of global silicon vendors.
