Alcatel's Ethernet MAC IP are the building blocks for SoC designs for highly integrated communications systems.

To enable rapid integration of the Alcatel MAC IP into a SoC, Mentor Graphics has created CPU bus wrappers and interface bridges.
Such innovations ease the IP and design tool integration processes while condensing design cycles that result in shorter design schedules.

Alcatel is the market leader in 10/100Mbit/s and Gigabit Ethernet MAC technology and a principal member of the 10-Gigabit Ethernet Alliance.
The Alcatel Technology Licensing Group's silicon-proven products are currently used in approximately 80% of the 10/100Mbit/s ports and over 50% of the Gigabit Ethernet ports shipping worldwide.
