Mentor Graphics Corp is offering free places on two high level verification seminars in the UK.

Mentor Graphics Corp is offering free places on two high level verification seminars in the UK.

The first tackles SystemVerilog on 23rd February at Blenheim Palace (Oxfordshire) with independent expert Cliff Cummings, a member of the IEEE1364 Verilog Standards Group since 1994 and the only Verilog and SystemVerilog trainer to help develop every IEEE and Accellera Verilog Standard.

With the widely used ModelSim as the demonstration tool this course will explore how to get the best out of the newly available SystemVerilog 3.1a standard.

The second, on the hot topic of assertion-based verification (ABV), runs on 18th March and 10th May at the Mentor Graphics Livingston (Scotland) and Newbury (Berkshire) offices, respectively, with presenter Steve Bailey.

The technique helps designers find bugs far earlier in the design cycle.

The half-day course will cover the fundamentals and implementation of assertion-based verification and coverage driven verification.

Anyone interested can register online for either seminar, regardless of whether they currently use Mentor tools.
