Memec Insight is inviting designers to take part in its 2005 Analogue Challenge.

Memec Insight is inviting designers to take part in its 2005 Analogue Challenge Run in conjunction with Linear Technology Corp, the online challenge provides designers with a unique opportunity to present their analogue design problem to a team of highly skilled engineers who will provide advice free of charge

Designers take part in the challenge by filling in a short questionnaire, which they can then either submit online or in hard copy.

They will then be contacted by a Memec Insight engineer who can discuss the problem in more detail and, if relevant, advise on parts required and provide explanatory data and circuit designs.

"Designers in the semiconductor industry are facing increasingly complex challenges", commented Colin Eddy, European Product Manager at Memec Insight.

"Our engineers deal with issues for example those associated with power management and signal conditioning - every day".

"This challenge enables designers to benefit from that experience".

The challenge can be accessed via the Memec website but will also be appearing on leading electronics news sites during March and April.

Initially available in English and German language versions, other activities will follow throughout the year including local campaigns in the emerging markets of Eastern Europe and South Africa.
