A new sales division, Memec Express provides enhanced sales support and customer service for UK customers at small to medium business levels, including original equipment manufacturers.

Memec Express is a new sales division set up to provide enhanced sales support and customer service for UK customers at small to medium business levels, including original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) Fresh on the heels of Memec Express launching in the USA and China, Memec Express UK is the latest divisional operation in the company's EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region

The company initially introduced Memec Express in Central Europe more than 20 months ago.

Memec Express supports customers via regional call centres and complements the services provided by the company's demand creation divisions, Memec Insight and Memec Unique, and by Memec United, the company's global logistics and electronics manufacturing services department.

Providing instant access to information regarding pricing, availability and delivery of specific semiconductors, Memec Express effectively and efficiently offers targeted support services.

"Memec Express enables the company to better serve the specific needs of a critical UK customer segment - OEMs at small and medium business levels", said Jessica Clarke, UK Manager for Memec Express.

"By providing them with easy access to Memec sales personnel and product information, Memec Express empowers UK customers to get what they need quickly and move forward in their product lifecycle".

Memec Express UK offers 37 lines from the portfolios of Memec Insight and Memec Unique.

The division provides customers with increased services by offering rapid ordering and support information to those that don't require high levels of design and engineering support.

In addition, customers will continue to benefit from the in-depth product knowledge of Memec sales personnel, which is enabled by the company's focused linecards.
