Holsters for quick-on-the-draw meters
Meterman is offering free holsters with three ranges of handheld meters, the XL and XT Series of DMMs and two component testers, all of which feature oversized read-at-a-glance displays.
Tester comes with a free screwdriver
Meterman is offering a money-saving compact kit for electronics technicians and engineers for a limited period.
An ideal test tool for electricians, plant maintenance, HVAC and field service technicians, it has a Cat III 600V safety rating and features a bright backlight which switches on automatically in low ambient conditions.
The new Meterman AC 71 automatic AC clamp multimeter features a large four-digit LCD.
It measures currents to 600A AC, for conductors up to 32mm in diameter, and voltages to 750V AC and 1000V DC.
It also measures resistance to 2kohm, provides an audible continuity indication at resistances below 25ohm, and features a data hold button.
When the test leads are placed across a measurement point, the unique AutoTect feature automatically senses and displays the type of measurement being made and the measurement units.
The AutoTect feature also uses a lower input impedance at low voltages, determining whether there is a hard connection or if "ghost" voltages are present.
The bright blue backlight automatically switches on in low-light conditions, providing very clear readings even in places difficult to access.
The AC 71 has been independently certified for safety by TUV and CSA to Cat II 1000V and Cat III 600V, and comes with Meterman's one year "no-hassle" warranty.
With a recommended retail price of GBP 66, it comes complete with battery, test leads, operating manual and a convenient carrying case.
