Venture Development Corp and Electronic Trend Publications have each named Mercury Computer Systems as the market leader in embedded defence electronics.

Industry research firms Venture Development Corporation (VDC) and Electronic Trend Publications (ETP) have each named Mercury Computer Systems as the market leader in embedded defence electronics in their most recent independent market research reports According to VDC's COTS market research data from vendors, and defense contractors and subcontractors, Mercury is clearly a leader in the board-level VME COTS market making more than 25% of the board-level VME COTS shipments

ETP's analysis of various embedded technologies and multiple applications reports that Mercury has a 22% market share of the military/aerospace applications market.

The report rankings are testament to Mercury's involvement in more than 300 defence-industry programmes and its long-standing relationships with leading defence primes that include BAE, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon.
