Medium power UPSs take three-phase inputs

MGE UPS Systems is adding three new models with three-phase input to complement the single-in/single-out Comet EX RT 7 and 11kVA range launched in June last year.

High availability power solutions manufacturer MGE UPS Systems is adding three new models - 5, 7 and 11kVA - with three-phase input to complement the single-in/single-out Comet EX RT 7 and 11kVA range launched in June last year.

This range now provides secured power for 25 to 55 servers, for any type of mains power supply.

As medium power UPSs, between 5 and 10kVA, are designed to protect information systems and critical company processes, the extended Comet range shares the features of MGE's large UPSs and include high power availability ensured by hot-swappable UPS and battery modules, the ability to operate with a high level of interference without draining the battery, and electrical input/output characteristics that ensure high efficiency and output power quality, with very low harmonic current emissions.

The new range also provides a high level of network integration and N+1 redundant power source.
