MGE UPS Systems has been presented with the Frost and Sullivan UPS Company of The Year 2005 Award for demonstrating excellence in all of its operations.

Shaun Dawson, Frost and Sullivan Analyst comments: "The award recognises MGE's effective management, successful new market penetration strategy, innovation capability and outstanding quality of service, all based on a unique customer care policy".

MGE has been recording double-digit growth for two years.

Its sales are spread across the Europe and international area, including the Middle East, Africa and 50Hz countries of the Latin/South Americas (60%), Asia (20%) and the USA (20%).

MGE has experienced rapid growth in business in Europe during 2003-2005, well above the market trend, thanks to its increased presence in Central Europe and Russia underpinned by reinforcement in the IT segment.

China, where MGE dominates the large UPS and service markets, is a major growth area for the future.

Business has also strongly progressed in Asia and India, where MGE's customers include market leaders in the semiconductor and IT industries.

"This award recognises our capacity to offer continually evolving, innovative high availability power solutions and associated services as well as our processes and organisation as a whole".

"Customer care is a key characteristic of MGE throughout the world", comments Andrew Taylor, Managing Director of MGE UPS UK.
