To achieve this high level of availability, the Evolution series features remote administration capability with a wide variety of communications tools, both local, via the USB or serial port, and remote, via the IP network.
Different solutions for all installation sizes provide UPS status supervision and access to settings and advanced functions, from a simple web browser to SNMP-based network management consoles such as HP Openview, IBM Tivoli Netview, Computer Associates Unicentre, and the MGE UPS Systems Enterprise Power Manager v.2 software.
For service continuity, with the optional Hot-Swap MBP (maintenance by-pass) module, UPSs can be replaced without shutting down the protected equipment.
Designed specifically for network applications, Evolution UPSs are equipped with key functions including remote rebooting of applications and backup management with built-in programmable switched outlets, and sequential outlet startup.
The Evolution series consists of a wide range of power ratings, from 650 to 3000VA, and two versions: Evolution UPSs, in tower or 1U rack format from 650 to 2000VA (2U for 2000VA) and Evolution S, two-in-one tower and rack format, from 1250 to 3000VA.
