The MLP 7100 series of limiter diodes from Micrometrics are application specific PIN devices that are specially fabricated to have particularly low loss (less than 0.1dB) and fast recovery time (under 5.0ns) over a frequency range from 100MHz to 22GHz.

Designed for use in both active and passive limiters, a unique intrinsic region design gives engineers the ability to choose from various I-region thicknesses and capacitance levels.

This allows them to design without compromise because they can order the precise device that will work best for their particular power in (+70dBm) and leakage out (less than +19dBm) requirements.

They are available in many package styles including chip form, glass, ceramic, and surface mount.

They are ideally suited for use in waveguide, coax, microstrip or stripline.

They may also be designed as cascade devices to provide variable threshold and leakage power at various input power levels.

Application assistance is available.

Price and delivery depend on the specification.
