10W convertors shrink to miniature
outline
New single- and dual-output DC/DC convertors provide 10W of output power from a compact DIL package without any sacrifice of performance or field reliability.

Eighth-brick convertors keep their cool
Convertors deliver full-rated output power and current, with little or no derating, at high ambient temperatures without the need for heatsinks.
Powerful convertors come in small packages
High-efficiency DC/DC convertors claim an unrivalled combination of an extremely small shielded package and high power output.
They are ideally suited for space critical board level applications requiring moderate power levels and tightly regulated, isolated outputs.
Twenty models operate from 2:1 input ranges of 9 to 18, 18 to 36, or 36 to 75V DC, providing tightly regulated outputs of 2.5, 3.3, 5, 12, 15, +/-12 or +/-15V DC.
Standard features include an input/output isolation of 1500V DC, compliance to EN55022 Class "A", and efficiency as high as 88%.
The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the A1100RW series is 1Mh.
The A1100RW family is packaged in a miniature, low profile 1.25 x 0.80 x 0.40in metal case.
The pinout is industry standard.
Each model is specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of -40 to +60C ambient (+90C case) with no derating or heatsinking required.
Cooling is by free-air convection.
The A1000RW series has been specifically designed to combine miniature size, high power density and high performance features.
These low cost DC/DC convertors are an ideal choice for a wide range of space critical, board level applications that require more than the 5-6W typically available in a DIP package, but do not have the room for a 1 x 2in unit.
Applications would include process control systems, telecommunications equipment, data processing equipment, robotic systems and power distribution subsystems.
