High-linearity amp offers broadband performance
Power amplifier covers 5.9 to 9.5GHz frequency band and includes an integrated temperature compensated on-chip power detector.
This amplifier achieves 2dB of noise figure and 12dB of gain.
This packaged low noise amplifier, identified as XL1007-QT, is suitable for a variety of C-band applications, including WiMAX.
The XL1007-QT is a self-biassed, low cost amplifier that eliminates the need for a negative voltage supply and external matching elements.
This general purpose driver amplifier comes in a 3x3 mm, plastic QFN package and delivers high performance for WiMAX applications.
"Pressure is mounting on system designers in the 3.5 and 5 GHz bands to reduce time to market and meet tough cost, size and performance targets," stated Amer Droubi, Product Manager, Mimix Broadband "The XL1007-QT offers an effective solution, by delivering excellent performance over a wide frequency band, while saving cost and valuable board space by utilising single positive power supply only, eliminating external matching and bypassing elements, and using a small RoHS compliant package that is compatible with high volume SMT lines".
The XL1007-QT is the first of a family of cost effective low noise amplifiers from Mimix that are assembled in standard RoHS compliant QFN packages and target C-band applications.
Engineering samples are available today from stock in small quantities.
