Plastic packaged buffer amplifiers are easy to implement and handle in volume wireless communications applications.

Two new buffer amplifiers from Mimix Broadband are offered in standard RoHS compliant 3 x 3mm QFN plastic packages, making them easy to implement and handle in volume applications.

The XB1007-QT and XB1008-QT cover 4-11 and 10-21GHz, respectively.

Both devices deliver +19dBm P1dB compression point and +30dBm OIP3.

The XB1007-QT has 23dB small signal gain, and the XB1008-QT has 18dB small signal gain.

Both are ideal for wireless communications applications such as point-to-point radio, satcom and Vsat applications.

"The XB1007-QT and XB1008-QT are versatile devices that provide a low-cost solution over the entire frequency range of 4-21GHz", says Paul Beasly, Product Manager of Mimix Broadband.

"The devices provide high gain, excellent power handling and good linearity performance in standard 3 x 3mm QFN packages, with the added benefit of gain control".

Mimix performs 100% RF, DC and output power testing on the XB1007-QT and XB1008-QT.

Samples are available now from stock, along with production quantities.
