Vice President's responsibility grows
MIPS Technologies, a provider of processor architectures and cores for digital consumer and business applications, has promoted Brad Holtzinger to the position of Vice President of Worldwide Sales.

Holtzinger joined MIPS Technologies in 2001 as the Director of Systems Solutions and has more than 26 years of embedded industry experience in sales, marketing and engineering.
He was salesman of the year at MIPS Technologies in his first year in sales.
Following that, in his first year as Vice President of Sales, the Americas, he led the Americas team to record growth over the prior year.
Holtzinger began his career at Motorola in 1979 and was one of the founding members of the Motorola Computer Group selling VME boards into the embedded market.
In 1991 he joined Force Computers and established their embedded systems business unit.
Additionally, he has had a successful career selling semiconductors as a manufacturer's representative for companies including Xilinx, PMC-Sierra and Fujitsu, among others.
Holtzinger holds a BSEE degree from Purdue University.
