Multipulse Electronics has made a key appointment to its marketing team.

Simon Wicks joins the Woking company in the newly created position of Business Development Manager.

With over 15 years' experience in the technical marketing field, he will play a pivotal role in Multipulse's expansion programme into new markets.

Having built its reputation providing communications outsourcing for telecomms companies and the rail industry, the company is now offering its services to a wider range of sectors.

Wicks was previously a key account manager at Knurr UK, the electronic enclosures manufacturer, and spent part of his career in Australia.

"Simon's appointment is a key element in our expansion", said Martyn Wilson, Multipulse's Marketing Director.

"There is a demand for our approach to systems integration in new markets within the UK and overseas".

"I am looking forward to working with the Multipulse team", added Wicks, "to provide smaller companies with the systems integration expertise that would normally only be available to blue chip companies".
