For Block, the distribution agreement builds on existing catalogue distribution channels.

Micromark's customer base has created wider marketing opportunities while strengthening the design-in and technical support available for Block's UK customers.

Block has been designing and producing transformers for over 60 years.

Since the 1970s it has operated internationally, building up a comprehensive range of standard products and expanding its expertise beyond iron cored transformers, ferrite transformers and reactors, to complete power supply units and products for the EMC market.

The new franchise adds a further dimension to Micromark's portfolio of passive and electromechanical components, encompassing the whole PCB transformer range from Block.

Included are the popular FL series of low profile transformers, along with the VB families of short-circuit-proof transformers the VC, VCM and VR ranges of safety-encapsulated transformer with up to 50VA capacity and the overload-protected PT models.

All are designed and approved to UL, CUL, VDE and the latest European approval EN61-558.
