Electrolytic capacitors handle lead-free reflow
New extended temperature SMT electrolytic capacitors meet the market demand for components suited to the higher temperatures required by lead-free soldering.
The new technology involves layering the electrodes on top of each other and thermobonding them, enabling them to be piled in absolutely any number.
As a result the finished batteries are extremely adaptable in terms of both size and performance.
Designers of industrial applications such as mobile data capture, ticket sales and electronic payment systems as well as medical and communications devices will be able to specify the size and shape of their battery to fit the look of the product.
Poliflex batteries are available from stock in two standard sizes.
The 650mAh model is 3.8 x 35 x 62mm and weighs 15g, whereas the 780mAh version measures 4.2 x 35 x 66mm and weighs 18g.
Protection circuit modules are included within the batteries, providing protection from damage caused by short circuits or incorrect charging.
Discharge operating temperatures are from -20 to +60C.
