Organic capacitors perform better for longer
New aluminium organic capacitors from Micromark C and CD sustain their capacitance at high operating frequencies, thereby enabling component count and system cost savings.
The range offers electrical parameters similar to generic tantalum specifications yet provides excellent rates of reliability through the use of a new combination of non-burn niobium oxide ceramic material and manganese oxide.
The standard NOJ series offers reliability of 0.5%/1kh at temperatures up to 105C, and the NOS series offers 0.2%/1kh at temperatures up to 125C.
The low-ESR NOS series offers impedance values from 100 to 150mohm at 100kHz and has capacitance and voltage ratings from 100 to 470uF across 4.0-6.3V at 85C.
The standard NOJ family has impedance values ranging from 0.4 to 4.0ohm at 100kHz and provides capacitance ratings spanning 10 to 1000uF across 4.0-6.3V at 85C.
Both OxiCap families are free from lead and halogens.
