Micromark C and CD has a new range of filters to meet the product specific standard for EMC compliance in machine tools, EN50370.

Five compact and lightweight families of EMC filters from Schaffner deliver the performance required by machine tool manufacturers, along with easy time saving installation and contacting.

The FN3256 series is a compact and lightweight three-phase-plus-neutral line filter, which combines high attenuation performance with low leakages to increase the immunity of the installation.

It features current rating options of 8 to 160A at 50C and requires minimal mounting space.

As a mains input filter for three phases and neutral line, the FN3280 provides enough performance to ensure EMC compliance of machinery in mixed (Class A) or even domestic (Class B) environments.

With outstanding attenuation performance, it is also suitable for noisy power supplies and high power office equipment.

The FN3275 compact three-phase EMI/RFI filters are suitable for industrial machinery such as printing machines, packaging machines and laser cutting machines.

The family features solid, touch-safe terminal blocks for all filters from 10 to 100A and a protective cover for all filters with busbars from 150 to 1000A.

The FN3120 series of high-end three phase EMI/RFI filters are ideal for conventional and regenerative drives offering high performance for noisy applications and improved reliability.

In addition, machine tool control units can now use the FN2410 components.

Lightweight and compact FN3270 filters combine the industry's smallest footprint with optimum performance to target the limits given by the power drive product family standard, EN61800-3.

To ensure rated value over-specification is avoided, the range is broken down into 14 different current types in convenient increments from 10 to 1000A.
