New extended temperature SMT electrolytic capacitors meet the market demand for components suited to the higher temperatures required by lead-free soldering.

Micromark C and CD is introducing new extended temperature SMT electrolytic capacitors to meet the market demand for components suited to the higher temperatures required by lead-free soldering The new capacitors from Panasonic are available from Micromark C and CD in aluminium electrolytic and polymer aluminium electrolytic varieties and offer peak soldering temperatures of 260C

Applications such as switching power supplies, DC/DC convertors together with smoothing circuits for home computing and appliances will benefit from the range's low impedance, long life and compact form.

The highly reliable aluminium electrolytic capacitors are offered with nominal capacitance values ranging from 1 to 1500uF across rated voltages of 6.3 to 35V.

The polymer aluminium versions present capacitance values from 33 up to 560uF across rated voltages of 2 to 8V.

Panasonic surface mount capacitors are available in tape and reel packaging, compatible with automatic placement equipment.
