The M78 is a complete four-channel oscilloscope on a single M-Module mezzanine card.

The M78 is a complete four-channel oscilloscope on a single M-Module mezzanine card.

The oscilloscope offers a resolution of 12bit, a bandwidth of up to 10MHz and a sampling rate of up to 50Msample/s simultaneously for all four channels.

Signal/noise ratio is 64dB at 3.58MHz.

A local 16Mbyte RAM - 4Mbyte per channel - buffers the converted values.

Data is available after the sampling process and the buffer contents can be transferred to the host.

The M78 has onboard input signal conditioning - implemented by adding a small PCB - which guarantees maximum versatility for a wide range of applications.

Variable trigger functions, external triggers and clocking allow the M78 to be used as a genuine digital storage oscilloscope and the implementation of modular multichannel systems.

Typical applications include simulators, analysis systems, high-speed data loggers and automotive diagnostic systems.

3 and 6U carrier cards are available for use in PXI systems.

These carrier cards support all eight trigger lines according to the PXI specification.

The PXI triggers are routed to the M-Module interface.

The M78 is based on the M-Module ANSI mezzanine standard.

It can be used as an I/O extension in any type of bus system, such as CPCI, PXI or VME, or on any type of stand-alone SBC.

Up to four M-Modules can be plugged into a 6U carrier card, or up to two on a 3U card.
