The P17 is a double-width PC-MIP module incorporating a 235MHz 24bit RAMDAC offering a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixel, coupled with enhanced multidisplay capabilities.

The P17's SM731 display controller, coupled with its 16Mbyte of integrated graphics RAM, can drive two independent digital displays, with identical or different screen displays.

The controller also incorporates two LVDS channels that can drive two separate panels or a single high-resolution UXGA panel.

The module can control LCD/TFT, CRT and TV screens.

The P17 provides a DVI-I digital video interface for LCD and CRT via its front-panel connector.

It also provides an S-Video input and output.

The two LVDS channels are supported via an onboard connector on the P17 and a rear I/O connector on the carrier board.
