Joystick answers vibration concerns
Thanks to a new four-way joystick recently introduced into the RMQ Titan range, engineers at Jones Engineering near Doncaster have significantly improved the control of their agricultural machine.
Smart look for panel-mounting controls
New additions to the popular Moeller RMQ-Titan range of control circuit devices include joysticks, four-way pushbuttons and selector switches.
The power supply is installed simply on a standard 35mm profile DIN rail alongside the Easy relay and complies with global safety standards.
The popular Easy range provides the perfect solution to any situation requiring precise switching and control operations.
Its clear display and function keys together with a step-by-step menu guide ensure quick and simple set-up and operation.
Three contacts together with a single coil allocation can be input into each of up to 41 lines of logic; allowing the user to construct quite complex control and monitoring configurations.
Two versions of the Easypower 0.5 are available: one with a selectable input voltage ranging from 115 to 230V AC, the other from 230 to 400V.
Both provide an output voltage of 24V DC.
Conservatively rated at 500mA it can provide ample power for the supply and input requirements of Easy relays and still have enough in reserve to provide power for the outputs.
Its compact 72 x 90 x 53mm case, which is exactly the same size and profile as the Easy412, has both top and bottom terminals allowing simple direct connection to the intelligent relay.
Easypower features output current foldback limiting and full short-circuit protection.
It conforms to safety standards: VDE 0805, EN60950, IEC950 and CSA 22.201950, thus making it suitable for use worldwide.
The new unit's operating temperature range is from 0 to 50C.
