Molex has launched a range of angled SO DIMM connectors, for increasing board space in applications where space is limited.

Molex has launched a range of angled SO DIMM connectors, for increasing board space in applications including 1U and blade servers, network equipment, test and measurement equipment and many other board uses where space is limited Each connector features a 22.5-degree angle that suspends the module above the motherboard allowing for additional memory module applications

With a 0.8mm pitch, the angled SO DIMM offers front solder tabs for optimal PCB hold-down and a polarisation key for proper module insertion.

Equipped with an ample flat surface area for automatic pick and place capability, the connector also includes a tail alignment comb to ensure true solder tail positioning.

Two metal antistress latch protectors prevent overstress breakage and mishandling.
