Save space with shrinking USB connectors
The new series of mini-BTM USB connectors from Molex take up only about 1/8th of the space of standard USB-B connectors.
The bezels, constructed of flame retardant V940 plastic, are mounted on an easy-to-access 60-degree angle and accommodate adapters such as SC, FC, MTP, duplex LC, hybrid SC/FC and FC/ST.
The bezel may be removed for cleaning or the existing adapter may be changed for another style.
In addition, a shutter on both the simplex and duplex versions protects against laser radiation and dust.
Simplex and duplex bezel designs are available in plastic or metallised plastic housing versions, providing improved EMI shielding.
Metallised adapters are also available to accompany the metallised bezels for SC and SC duplex versions.
All adapters are available in zirconia or phosphor bronze sleeves.
