Terminal blocks tackle high current
applications
Molex has introduced EuroMax pluggable terminal blocks for high amperage industrial applications.
Molex has introduced EuroMax pluggable terminal blocks for high amperage industrial applications As well as complementing Molex's existing 600V fixed (one-piece) high-power terminal block family, the EuroMax interconnect system offers design engineers a two-piece pluggable system and the highest amperage solution in the industry with up to 85A per circuit at 600V

Save space with shrinking USB connectors
The new series of mini-BTM USB connectors from Molex take up only about 1/8th of the space of standard USB-B connectors.
Power connectors meet SSI specifications
The new DPS/MPS power connectors from Molex meet the Server System Infrastructure (SSI) open specifications for backplanes.
The EuroMax interconnect system is well-suited for a variety of high-power industrial applications, such as motors and drives, process controls, electrical energy controls and load control systems.
Available in a horizontal plug and right-angle header version, the EuroMax interconnect system features an additional pluggability advantage for easy servicing or field repair and replacement.
It offers a highly redundant parallel contact system to maximise performance, and all hardware components are copper-based alloys to optimise thermal compatibility.
Manufactured from a high-temperature housing material, the interconnect system is able to withstand lengthy solder pre-heat conditions.
The header blade features three PCB tails, providing a robust PCB connection.
Another version is also available in the form of one-piece terminals which offer an even more cost-effective solution.
In addition to these features, the new terminal block has been designed with a screwdriver slot built-in on circuit counts of four and above to help ease de-plugging.
"The EuroMax interconnect system provides the industry with a convenient solution that can achieve maximum power", said Paul Silva, Product Manager, Molex.
"Overall, this two-piece version complements our existing product line by combining the benefits of a high-power terminal block with a pluggable design".
The EuroMax interconnect system is available in two to ten circuits, and up to eight circuits for the versions with optional mounting ends that provide added security.
