Easy installation for sealed connector system
The new MX150 sealed connector system is a submersible, environmentally sealed interconnection system designed to withstand harsh conditions.
Wire-to-wire connectors support larger sizes
Molex has expanded the MX150L offering to support large wire AWG applications with 8, 10 and 12 AWG wire-to-wire connectors.
This pre-assembled design is easy to use and lowers applied costs because it does not require assembly of components and eliminates the need to purchase or handle wire seals.
Simply insert a crimped terminal lead and seat the TPA into its final lock position.
The MX150 sealed connector system provides a unique combination of superior electrical performance and low insertion force.

Save space with shrinking USB connectors
The new series of mini-BTM USB connectors from Molex take up only about 1/8th of the space of standard USB-B connectors.
Power connectors meet SSI specifications
The new DPS/MPS power connectors from Molex meet the Server System Infrastructure (SSI) open specifications for backplanes.
It was designed to meet the new, aggressive USCAR-20 filed correlated life testing (FCLT) requirements, which are aligned to 150,000 miles or 15-years of service life.
The product is also compliant with UL, USCAR-2, Rev 3 and IEC IP67 performance standards for sealed connectors.
Compliance with these standards means that the MX150 sealed connector system is ideal for automotive, marine, off-road construction and agricultural equipment, as well as truck, bus and RV applications.
The MX150 sealed connector system is also a field repairable solution that has plug and receptacle housings with polarisation features to prevent accidental mismating.
Products are available in a wide variety of circuit sizes and wire ranges.
Based on the 1.50mm blade-type terminal system, the MX150 version is designed around a 3.5mm pitch, whereas the MX150L version was designed with a 5.84mm pitch.
The MX150L version accommodates a wide range of insulation styles from SAE to UL type wires, while the MX150 version is designed for smaller SAE style wire and UL thin wall equivalents.
"Prior to the MX150 sealed connector system, sealed connectors used in these types of applications required additional assembly by the customer and, in some cases, were permanent connections that needed complete replacement if a connection failed, all of which costs time and money", said Kevin McGonigle, Product Manager, Molex Industrial Division.
"The MX150 sealed connector system not only meets the market need for a sealed, ruggedised interconnect, it offers a pre-assembled design that is also a field repairable solution that eliminates assembly and down time, as well as repair costs".
MX150 sealed connector system has integral terminal position assurance (TPA), which assures that the crimped terminal leads are properly locked into place.
It also features an integral locking latch with a secondary connector position assurance (CPA) option which assures that connector system is properly latched.
It support a wide range of UL (22-14 AWG) and SAE (22-14 AWG) wire sizes for both low-level signal and power applications up to 18.0A.
