Power connectors meet SSI specifications
The new DPS/MPS power connectors from Molex meet the Server System Infrastructure (SSI) open specifications for backplanes.
Molex's new range of FFC jumpers are terminated to either zero insertion force (ZIF) or non-ZIF FFC pick-and-place surface mount connectors.
In line with the company's commitment to high quality, Premo-Flex jumpers allow a light and small planar structure in order to accommodate a high density wiring solution.
Molex's FFC jumpers are also suitable for the movable extension of printed circuit boards and display units, which eases the assembly processes.
Molex also offers a range of customised FFC connectors to respond to customers' requirements in very different markets from automotive, consumer - with devices such as camcorders and plasma diplays -, to computer equipment including notebooks, printers or scanners.
The FFC designs, available for the automotive bus system wiring, enables proper impedance continuity between 83 and 150ohm, and can optionally screen against EMI/RFI influences.
Molex's FFC products are available with a contacting area on the same or opposite sides to mirror the signal layout between printed circuit boards.
The complete FFC line is also effective in high temperature environments up to 105C, and can be produced with higher specification on request.
