The ESE terminal blocks are available in either fixed (single-piece), or pluggable (two-piece) styles.
They are rated at 300V and 8.0-15.0A and support up to 12 AWG wire.
The 3.50 and 3.81mm pitch are offered in circuit sizes from 2-20.
In the 5.00 and 5.08mm pitch, circuit sizes range from 2-48.
The added range is provided via dual-row headers.
To help designers meet their board layout requirements, the ESE product line provides three different wire angles to determine the best fit for their specific application, including vertical, horizontal and a 45 degree angle option.
"With multiple styles, four different pitch sises and three different wire entry angles, the ESE PCB terminal blocks provide design engineers with a wide array of options to fit their specific needs", says Mark Wuolle, Product Manager, Molex.
"By expanding our Eurostyle terminal block offering we are providing customers with flexible and reliable solutions for their interconnection needs".
Additional features include high temperature housings, gold contact plating, and imprinting.
The surface mount compatible terminal block headers are specifically designed to withstand reflow soldering temperatures and eliminate the need for a secondary wave-soldering process.
The gold plating option increases connection reliability in applications where there is corrosion or low-energy levels and dry circuits.
