Monterey triples Japanese operations
In response to the demand from its Japanese customer base, Monterey Design Systems has tripled its sales and support staff and promoted Rick Ader to the position of general manager of Japan and Asia.

As general manager of Japan and Asia, Ader is responsible for all aspects of sales, distributor management, technical support, and customer satisfaction for the entire Monterey product line.
"Rick is a tremendous asset to Monterey and we are counting on him to continue the rapid expansion of our business in Japan and Asia", added Benkoski.
Ader joined Monterey in 2000 as territory sales manager for Japan and Asia.
Prior to Monterey, he held various executive and engineering management positions at Summit Design and Toshiba, most recently serving as Japan country manager for Summit.
Ader speaks fluent Japanese and received concurrent BSc degrees in electrical and computer engineering, and computer science from the University of Wisconsin.
