Monolithic Power Systems has released its first operational amplifier.

New from Monolithic Power Systems (MPS), the MP8102 is the company's first operational amplifier to complement its wide offering in DC to DC convertors, LED and CCFL drivers and Class D audio amplifiers.

The MP8102 is an ultra-low-power op amp which delivers a -3dB bandwidth of 600kHz while consuming an incredibly low 7.5uA of supply current.

This 1.8 to 5.5V true single-supply amplifier features a rail-to-rail output that can sink and source 20mA of load current and has an input common mode range that includes ground.

In addition, the MP8102 has a very low input offset voltage of less than 1mV and a tiny 2pA of input bias current.

This part is packaged in a tiny SOT23-5 making it ideal for use in compact portable devices such as PDAs, mobile phones and cordless handsets, GPS receivers, and a wide range of consumer electronics.

Samples are available immediately.
