FDK's standard DC/DC convertors include the Senpai and Sensei series featuring full-rated output current with little or no derating at high ambient temperature.
Leading-edge thermal performance is the result of the electrical, thermal and packaging design that is optimised for high-density circuit card conditions.
The Senpai series of low input voltage POLs delivers up to 10A in the smallest industry-standard footprint.
These nonisolated DC/DC convertors are designed for intermediate bus architecture (IBA) and distributed power architecture (DPA) applications that require high efficiency, tight regulation, and high reliability in elevated temperature environments with low airflow.
These devices feature 5.0V DC input and 3.3V DV output, an ambient temperature of 85C with natural convection cooling.
The Sensei series of isolated brick DC/DC convertors provide up to 180W of output power with minimal derating at elevated temperatures and no required heatsinks.
These convertors are ideal for intermediate bus architecture (IBA) and distributed power architecture (DPA) in telecommunications, data processing, computing and storage applications requiring a regulated 12V distribution bus.
With a 48V DC input, the convertors provide 15 and 14A of output current in ambient temperatures up to 60C with 2m/s airflow.
