Amotech's ceramic division offers a complete series of dielectric patch antennas.

Amotech's ceramic division offers a complete series of dielectric patch antennas.

These patches have low-profile ceramic antenna elements for use in portable GPS receivers and navigation systems.

Designed for 1575.42MHz reception, the low-profile antennas have four different footprints of 25 x 25, 18 x 18, 15 x 15 and 12 x 12mm, and have a rectangular microstrip design for GPS C/A right- and circular polarisation wave reception.

Amotech offers customised antennas in compact sizes.

The antennas have excellent stability and sensitivity through the use of high performance ceramic materials well suited for GPS applications.

The patch antennas have an impedance of 50ohm and a maximum temperature coefficient of +/-5ppm/C.

Gain ranges from 3dBi for smaller sizes, up to 5dBi for the largest device.

Amotech's strength are dimensional accuracy, close control of dielectric constant, and temperature-stable ceramic insures repeatable performance and dependable sensitivity.

Amotech ships the antennas with double-sided adhesive tape for ease in mounting to the ground plane.
