Blue and sky blue compact surface-mount GaN LEDs from AOT feature low-voltage operation for low power consumption and a narrow forward voltage range for better colour and brightness consistency.

The devices measure 1.6 x 0.8 x 0.5mm, and are available on a standard 12mm tape with 5000 pieces per reel.
The operating temperature is between -30 and +85C.
The storage temperature is specified between -40 and +85C.
The low profile, surface-mount configuration of the AOT 0603 series makes it suitable for backlighting keypads, pushbuttons and LCDs.
The price is $0.35 each in 10,000-piece quantities, with immediate delivery of volume production.
AOT also offers conventional high-brightness blue, red, yellow and green LEDs up to 170mcd at 5mA.
