The Morion MV142 is a new type of double-oven quartz oscillator (DOCXO) The device is housed in a standard 51 x 51mm package with a reduced height of only 25mm, and is able to ensure frequency stability up to +/-0.1ppb over a temperature range from -20 to +75C

It has also excellent aging of less than +/-10ppb/year and excellent short-term stability of less than 0.002ppb/s.

High-frequency stability allows the use of this OCXO in many applications as an inexpensive and more reliable replacement of Rubidium standards.

Standard frequencies are 4.096, 5.0, 8.192, 10.0, 16.384 and 20.0MHz.

Volume production is planned for the 3rd quarter of 2003.
